Studio Etiquette
We're located on Level 1 of Kallo Town Centre (44 Toyon Road, Kalkallo). The entrance to level 1 is on Toyon road beside Platinum Laundry. Please note there is no access to level 1 from the Woolworths entrance of the shopping centre.
There are lots of options for parking, either in the Aspire & Woolworths side of the shopping centre or street parking on Toyon Road.
How do I book a class?
To enhance your experience and secure a spot in the class, we discourage walk-ins, as spaces can't be guaranteed. Please book through Momence before attending. The booking cut-off is set at 20 minutes prior to the start of the class.
When should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early so you can settle in before class.
If it’s your first time at the studio, please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and speak to your instructor.
Please note: we lock the doors when class starts, so make sure to be on time.
If the class has started, we're unable to let anyone in once the doors are locked. This ensures everyone completes the warm-up to avoid injuries and prevent disruptions once the class is underway.
What if I'm new to Reformer?
If you haven't done Reformer before, it's important that you book a 15-minute intro session before your first group session to go over the Reformer machine and safety information. Reformer Flow and Restore are open level and Reformer Burn and Strong are for intermediate/advanced levels.
What if I'm new to Yoga?
Our yoga classes are beginner-friendly and open to everyone. Feel free to start with any yoga style that interests you!
How does the waitlist work?
Join the waitlist if a class is full — if a spot opens, the first person will be added in automatically. Momence will text a confirmation if you've been added to the class.
Manage your waitlist just like a normal class booking — please remove yourself if you can’t attend. Please note, late cancellation fees apply if you’re moved in to class and cancel within 6 hours.
The waitlist cut-off time is 45 minutes before class — after that, no one will be added automatically from the waitlist but you can still book any open spots directly in the app.
If you are unable to attend a class, please cancel on Momence within 6 hours before the scheduled class time. Late cancellations (within 6 hours of class) will incur a fee of $10 and no-shows will incur a fee of $15. These penalties are automatically applied by Momence and are non-refundable.
However, we understand that sometimes life throws curveballs! To offer some flexibility, we have a 'Life Happens' freebie. Each client is allowed one free late cancellation or no-show within any 4-week period. This means that if you late cancel or no-show once, you won’t be charged. However, if you late cancel or no-show again within the following 4 weeks, you will be charged the fee. After those 4 weeks, your free late cancellation or no-show resets.
Please note: class cancellations need to be made through Momence to avoid any penalties. While we’re always happy to help, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to process cancellations via email or DMs ASAP. Using Momence is the quickest and easiest way to cancel your class.
Why do you have late cancellation and no-show fees?
At Sama House, we’re dedicated to creating a supportive and fair space for everyone in our community. As a boutique studio, our class sizes are intentionally small, which means every spot is valuable—not just for us, but for our members.
These policies help us:
🧘 Keep our studio running sustainably, ensuring we can continue offering classes that our community loves. We simply wouldn’t be able to operate if spots were repeatedly booked and left unused. 🧘 Give all members a fair chance to attend their favourite classes. When a spot is booked and not used, it means another member, who may have really wanted to attend, misses out.
We have a duty of care to cultivate a space where members are mindful, responsible, and considerate of the whole community, and our policies reflect that. They are essential for keeping things fair and sustainable for everyone, and we can’t make exceptions without compromising that balance.
Am I eligible for a refund on my Late Cancellation/No Show penalty?
We truly understand that life can throw unexpected challenges our way, which is why we offer each client a "Life Happens" freebie, because we understand that sometimes things happen beyond our control.
We are unable to process refunds for late cancellations or no-shows. Treating everyone equally is important to us, and making exceptions to our policy would be unfair to the rest of our community. While we wish we could accommodate every individual situation, we have to apply our policies equally to maintain fairness for all our clients.
Wear exercise clothes that make you feel comfortable and allow for easy movement—breathable fabrics are best.
For Reformer classes, grippy Pilates socks are required and can be purchased at the studio if needed (card only).
The studio does not have toilet facilities. However, shared toilets are available on the first floor, located beside the staircase.
For your convenience and to ensure a hygienic environment, we provide dry shampoo and deodorant for use before and after class.
Respecting each other’s space is important to us. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing strong cologne or perfume, as some individuals may be sensitive to scents.
For safety reasons, please bring water in a non-glass bottle.
To ensure everyone’s safety and focus, the studio entrance will be locked once class begins, and our instructors are unable to open the door for latecomers.
While we encourage students to stay for the full class, we understand that sometimes you may need to leave early. If this is the case, please let your teacher know at the start of class, as the doors will be locked once the session starts. We kindly ask that you exit quietly to maintain a peaceful environment for the other students.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration!
